  • Soak dried plums and tamarind overnight.
  • Grind to make a paste.
  • Strain paste to obtain a smooth paste.
  • Put a pan over the flame. Add 1 kg of sugar into it, and 1 liter of water into it.
  • Mix until the sugar dissolves and cook until the syrup thickens.
  • Add paste in this sugar syrup and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add 1 tsp of salt to it and mix well.
  • Let it cool to room temperature.
  • Store in refrigerator for upto 1 month.
  • Add 2 tbsp of syrup, ice cubes, and fill it with water, and mix.
