Ingredients of Karela Payaz ka salan
Onion:

Karela/Bitter Gourd:
It is the main ingredient. It is slightly bitter in taste, but it is yummy to eat.

Spices:
These are added to make the dish delicious. A balanced amalgamation of spices is important for all the dishes.
Mango powder/ aam chor:
It is optional for this recipe but it tastes great.
Tips and Tricks
Wash them very well before cutting.
Sprinkle salt over the cubes of karela and then wash thoroughly with running water. Bitterness is reduced to a great degree.

Take oil in a pan and heat it. Then add onion slices and saute them until they become transparent.
Then add ginger garlic paste and chopped tomato and mix well.
Add all the spices and mix well. Cook until the oil separates.
Then add cubes of karela and cook until they become soft and fully cooked.
