Tips and tricks for palak gosht
Do not overboil the palak otherwise, the color of the palak becomes dark.
Do not over-chop boiled palak otherwise, the texture of palak gosht does not look delicious.
Kasuri methi is a common herb but it enhances the flavor and aroma of the recipe to a greater extent.

- Take palak and chop it then wash it in running water.
- Add palak in a pot, add 2 glass of water and let it boil until palak boils 60%. Do not over boil otherwise the color of palak darkens.
- Add the boiled palak in chopper and just chop it coarsely. Do not over chop it.
- Add half kg beef in a pressure cooker, sliced onions and tomato, and all other spices. Add 2 glass of water. mix everything very well.
- Pressure for 15 minutes or for 2-3 whistles until the beef become tender.
- Then cook for another 5-10 minutes soo the water of the gravy thickens.
- Add 1/2 cup of oil/ghee and mix. Cook until the oil separates.
- Add 2 tbsp of yogurt and mix then add 2 tbsp of kasuri meethi and mix.
- Then add boiled Palak in it and mix well. Cook for 10-15 minutes so their flavors assorted well. and oil starts to separates from the sides of cooker.
